As user ChameleonGeek, I posted the ebin-kodi project on github. I’ve worked with several Linux noobs and created a tutorial and downloadable scripts that will take a v7 EspressoBin straight out of the box, and turn it into a fully functioning Samba file server with the option to install quite a bit more. The whole process takes between 20 minutes and an hour, depending upon how ready you are and how many options are installed.

Has anyone had success with POSIX ACLs? I’m trying to add Domain Controller as a possible final configuration, but even though the system reports that xattr and ACLs are enabled, Keberos installation and Samba provisioning fail because ACLs aren’t actually functional.
