    Hello,

I am interested in Espressobin ultra. I liked the idea of having an integrated switch chip (Topaz switch). I would like to know how the Topaz switch interacts with the Armada 3700 CPU or with the linux OS running on Armada 3700. in particular:

1- when configuring the router on the linux OS, does this mean that all packets are processed at the kernel level of the linux OS? what would be the utility of the Topaz switch in this case?

2- are we able to implement SDN on Espressobin? a potential diagram would be the data plane is running on the Topaz switch, and the control plane on the Linux OS.

    Thanks in advance,
    Alaeddine
