    Hello out there,

Has someone already solder some eMMC device upon the PCB?
I ‘ve bought some Samsung eMMC Devices for a different project. It seem sthe the footprints look equal.

So my question what eMMC Devices will be recognized by the board?
And what to do to use them with the linux System eg. burn the Linux Image to the eMMC.

    best regards

    Frank

    Hi db5fp,

I am not sure about the samsung eMMC device you bought but we have validated the eMMC with the sandisk part SDIN7DP2-4G which is a 4.51 device. Also you will need to add the feature support of dts files on for the uboot and kernel to make it work. If you need some devices with EMMC please contact Globalscale and they can discuss details. you can email
    sales@globalscaletechnologies.com or bcheng@globalscaletechnologies.com

    Sincerely,

    Bryan

What sort of real read/write speeds can you expect if you add the sandisk part SDIN7DP2-4G ?

    Thanks
