awful case design

.. who ever designed this thing , has never seen a sata drive or what the cables even look like. It is utterly impossible to close the box with sata and power cables plugged in as the the tray leaves only about 3-4 mm between the on-board sata socket and the actual drive. Did anyone even test this abomination before shipping ? If anyone has a solution to the problem of these 2 items trying to occupy the same space , lemme know … Why isn’t it on the other side ? plenty of room there ..

I .. did get it to close .. without a drive tray, and letting everything slosh around inside. Most sata f-m cables come in combo packaging which takes up a lot of room – can’t believe no one thought of that when designing the layout ..

I managed to shut it without a drive tray, letting everything jostle inside. The combo packaging for most SATA F-M cables takes up too much space – surprising oversight in the layout design!
